With 200 million screwdriver bits annually, Compass is among the world‘s bigger professional

distributors of screw driving products.

To ensure quality and the necessary specification, manufacturing large amounts of screwdriving

products, requires a quality management system, plus a very well organized production process.

Compass bits are manufactured on modern CNC cutting machines. These ensure that the tolerances

are within specified guidelines of all screw driving systems.

The entire process is monitored with statistical process control (SPC) this guarantees an excellent

product quality.

Compass are licences the most important fastener partners such as ACR®,Torqset® and Triwing® of

Phillips Screw Company; TORX® of Acument Global Technologies and SIT® of Adolf Würth GmbH &

Co. KG.

Due to those licenses COMPASS is always up to date and guarantees the conformity with those

specifications. All other products are manufactured with DIN- and ISO standard specifications even the

torque values excel the required values.

All bits are made of S2 modified special steel, which allows to achieve very high hardness values in oil

bath hardening.
